CtrlKeyboard is operated by Yoshimyra SARL, a company registered in France. When this policy refers to "we", "us", or "our", it means Yoshimyra SARL.

We only collect what is necessary to provide the service.

• –Account data: email address and name when you create an account.
• –Usage data: anonymous aggregate statistics (pages visited, feature usage) to improve the product. No personal identifiers are included.
• –Payment data: handled entirely by Paddle. We never see or store your card details.
• –Support data: messages you send to our support team.

We do not collect your typed text. The Chrome extension and mobile keyboard apps process all text locally on your device. Nothing you type is transmitted to our servers.

• –To create and manage your account.
• –To process payments via Paddle.
• –To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets).
• –To respond to support requests.
• –To improve the product using anonymous analytics.

Account data is stored on servers located in the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed and salted and never stored in plain text.

We use the following third parties:

• –Paddle (payments and subscription management) — see paddle.com/privacy
• –Vercel (website hosting)
• –PostHog or equivalent (anonymous product analytics, no personal data)

Each third party is bound by their own privacy policy. We do not sell your data to any third party.

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• –Access the personal data we hold about you.
• –Request correction of inaccurate data.
• –Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• –Object to or restrict processing.
• –Export your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@ctrlkeyboard.com. We will respond within 30 days.

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it (e.g., billing records for tax purposes, retained for 10 years as required by French law).

CtrlKeyboard is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
