Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Yoshimyra SARL, a company incorporated under French law ("Company", "we", "us"), operating the product CtrlKeyboard, accessible at ctrlkeyboard.com and via the Chrome Web Store, Apple App Store, and Google Play Store.

CtrlKeyboard is a text formatting productivity tool available as:

• –A Chrome browser extension
• –An iOS custom keyboard app
• –An Android custom keyboard app

The service enables users to apply text formatting (bold, italic, strikethrough, etc.), manage text snippets, access clipboard history, and use voice input across third-party platforms and websites.

Some features require creating an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@ctrlkeyboard.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Paid plans are offered on a monthly or annual subscription basis. All payments are processed by Paddle, acting as our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms of service and authorize recurring charges to your payment method.

Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to local taxes depending on your jurisdiction. Paddle calculates and remits applicable VAT and sales tax on our behalf.

Yoshimyra SARL reserves the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

New Pro subscribers may benefit from a 7-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be billed at the applicable subscription rate.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to Pro features until then.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, contact hello@ctrlkeyboard.com within 14 days of a charge. We comply with the EU Consumer Rights Directive where applicable.

You agree not to:

• –Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• –Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of any part of the service.
• –Use the service to transmit malware, spam, or any harmful content.
• –Circumvent any access controls or usage limits imposed by the service.
• –Resell or sublicense access to the service without our prior written consent.

All intellectual property rights in the service — including software, trademarks, logos, and content — are owned by Yoshimyra SARL or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

You retain full ownership of any text or content you create using the service.

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

The service integrates with third-party platforms (WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram, etc.) solely to enable formatting within those platforms. Yoshimyra SARL is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any such third party. Use of third-party platforms is governed by their respective terms of service.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Yoshimyra SARL does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Yoshimyra SARL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

Yoshimyra SARL reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
